  • The goal of this project is to give myself more creative freedom, all while building a connection to you and discovering where our experience of existence overlap

Not to mention giving you a one-of-a-kind, original art piece as a tattoo

  • When I come up with the concepts for these pieces it is a "stream of consciousness" act. I don't think about what I want the pieces to to mean or what they are going to look like when completed. I simply pick an object and start playing with it, adding to or subtracting from the size and perspective of different elements and building upon it until I'm happy with the overall composition

With that said, I won't know how the work will come out until the end of the conceptualizing stage. Even then, I may have an idea causing me to alter the work or add to it before I can call it complete and ready to present

  • As I mentioned above, there are different elements to each piece. I will outline some of the one's I used in my "Absurdity" series as an example:

Main Object - Body Part - Secondary Object(s) - Plant, Geometric Shape, Boat, Hot-Air Balloon

Dark Object(s) - Tear Drops, Spikes, Circles

Last Object(s) - Tiny Animals, Small Details

Ribbon - Helps Tie Everything Together Literally and Metaphorically

  • Before we go any further, I need to clarify something I touched on in the 'About' page (if you haven't read that, please do)

I don't know how each piece will turn out when completed, nor how long each piece will take to complete. This means that the final design may not be ready for presentation until the day of your appointment. All I ask is that if you do participate in this project, that you come to your appointment with an open mind and with trust in me. I cannot guarantee what the final design will look like, but I can guarantee it won't look like you expect it to

Again, the goal here is more creative freedom and meaningful exploration of art and life, but at the end of the day it is your body. If you are significantly unhappy with the final piece, do not feel pressure to get it done

This is an untested project and a new creative space for me - I'm working out all the details as I go. I may not have all the answers, but if you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me
